Phil Ivey has been branded as the number one poker contender on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before reaching the age of one. He made a decision to take his skills to the next level and moved out west to Las Vegas. Phil continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the greatest players in the world. Phil credits his success to discipline and an undying love for the game of poker. Phil says that he is picking up skills every single day and is very humble about his success. Phil knows he makes blunders every single session of poker and constantly aspires to improve.
Although Phil has won some big tournaments, he favors winning cash games on a normal basis.
